With the help of your doctor, you can now gain an unprecedented level of insight into what may or may not be causing your child’s allergy symptoms. Along the way, the uKnow™ Peanut Molecular Allergy Test can help you gain clarity about your child’s allergy symptoms. All it takes is a single laboratory blood draw. This is how the program works:

Discuss uKnow Peanut with your child’s doctor using the downloadable forms on this site. Your doctor will provide all the necessary information to the Phadia Immunology Reference Laboratory (PiRL), including your credit card information.
Your kit will include additional resources along with the information the lab needs to obtain a blood sample necessary to perform the uKnow Peanut test. Only a single vial of blood will be needed. Make sure your forms are completed by your doctor.
With your forms completed, follow the blood collection process specified by your doctor. Your blood sample and all necessary information will be sent to PiRL for processing.
allergic sensitization
PiRL will perform the test and a member of PiRL’s medical staff will consult with your child’s doctor. You will also receive a receipt for submission to insurance and for healthcare flex spending accounts.*
management plan
Using information gained through the uKnow Peanut test technology, you and your doctor will have the information to design an informed allergy management plan for your child.
