Once we receive your completed forms, we will send you a uKnow Peanut Venous Blood Collection Kit. Take the kit and completed paperwork and schedule a blood draw, as directed by your doctor. Only a single vial of blood will be needed. Using the test results, you and your doctor can develop a more informed allergy management plan for your child.

When the test is ordered, there will be a one-time cost, which includes:
Testing
The blood sample will be tested for allergic sensitization to the individual peanut allergen components along with the whole peanut allergen extract. All testing is performed at PiRL, which is owned and operated by Phadia—the worldwide leader in allergy diagnostics for more than 40 years.
Interpretation
Results are analyzed, and interpretation of the test results is supported, by a member of PiRL’s medical staff in concert with your doctor.
Physician Access
Your doctor will have the opportunity for a direct consultation with a PiRL lab medical staff member to discuss any specific questions about the uKnow Peanut test results.

Financial assistance available
A patient may qualify for the uKnow Patient Financial Assistance Program if living at or below two times the federal poverty limit. To learn more, click to download information and an application.
